Hi Melanie, thanks for this article on a subject that needs much more pubic exposure. I've been in a relationship with a coercive controller and I'm beyond sympathetic. But, is sleeping on the sofa really evidence of emotional abuse? I understand that coercive control is about a broad pattern of behaviors, and sleeping on the sofa could be part of CC, but I'm not convinced that it's a reliable indicator. Any thoughts?
