Consistent Contradiction

Oh, oh, I think we have crossed wires a little. Wait. Re-set.

Did you think I was asking about sleeping on the couch because I've accepted something like: women routinely ask men to sleep on the couch and it is culturally accepted and (hahah) no big deal ?

Kinda like accepting that Ralph Kramden's casual threats of beating were just cute and funny. No doubt a lot of folks come from there.

Like that article from the Post-Gazette! (Thanks, it was great!)

Oh, crap, so, I'm from outer space.

That wasn't my context. I'm down with this story, I clappppped this story, because I think woman-on-man emotional abuse/violence happens all the time. And we have to talk about it a lot.

I was really asking the question more like a robot from outer space . . . is commanding someone (any gender) to sleep on the couch (any gender) a reliable indicator of abuse? Does context matter? Discuss.

(God I'm laughing, because did we just talk past each other? I'm so sorry. I'm E.T.)

But this does show that the question IS really complicated. (LOL) (Yeah, That's the Hill I will die on. LOL.)
