Wow. I almost wrote this, or something like it. Thanks! I wholeheartedly support trans rights etc. Living a life that is true to one's own self is important! I'm just not sure what it means to be "a real woman" or "a real man." I suspect there isn't anything that is a universal indicator for such things. I'm not trying to harm or insult anyone; I'm just curious and possibly confused. Is Rachel Dolezal really white? or Black? Aren't all these categories just cultural constructs? Could some instances of transition actually be cases of cultural appropriation?
